Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.
Departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Reports to the Director of Campus Safety and Chief of Police Performs duties associated with assigned work schedule (shifts may include day, evening, and night assignments during the week and /or week-ends) Patrols campus buildings and grounds Performs CPR and basic first aid as needed Performs loss prevention and asset protection functions Assists students, faculty and staff and campus visitors as required College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.
Physical Demands:
Foot patrol of campus buildings; to observe flow of traffic into parking areas; walking may be up to several hundred yards at one time over tile, concrete, or carpet; the ability to react in an emergency situation swiftly and appropriately using good judgment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience deemed to be comparable to educational requirement may be taken into consideration Knowledge of and ability to apply effective security measures and appropriate enforcement of college rules and regulations excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrates a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work with the public and local law enforcement agencies Individuals must possess valid Texas drivers' license One year's work in a law enforcement or security position is preferred Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration Desirable
