Posting Text Job Summary/Basic Function:
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Reports to the Director of the Children's Center Assists in the implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans and provides various developmentally appropriate activities (group and individual) Work schedule may include day and some evening assignments Assists in the monitoring and documenting of progress of children in the classroom Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, talking, vision, and hearing.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year in a licensed childcare facility or early childhood classroom Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written) Security sensitive position (criminal history check required on each applicant) Ability to meet the needs and concerns of college customers Ability to get along with others and to work in a team environment Other experiences, and skills that enhance one's value to the institution Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration Desirable
