Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications and monitor health conditions - Prepare meals and assist with feeding - Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry - Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients - Assist with mobility and transfers - Document and report any changes in client's condition to supervisor
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with seniors is a plus - Familiarity with assisted living and memory care systems is beneficial - Basic understanding of first aid procedures Skills:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality - Knowledge of social work principles and practices Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
